Shadow Lotus invites gamers to step into the role of a renegade ninja who infiltrates enemy clans and explores forbidden desires in a meticulously recreated Edo-period Japan. Exiled from his own faction, the protagonist uses steel to fight, stealth to infiltrate, and seduction to manipulate in a treacherous political environment. The plot is based on a conflict that forces the protagonist to act in an unstable world filled with pleasure, power, and betrayal.

Shadow Lotus presents a three-dimensional open world consisting of diverse territories, ranging from the bustling markets of Edo to serene bamboo forests and formidable snow-capped mountains. Hidden temples scattered throughout the area hold their own secrets and dangers. This project requires the player to adapt their approach to each unique location in order to achieve their goals.
