During the mission, Katarina changed her goal and instead of a junior officer killed the General of the Demacian troops, then safely returned to the camp. Because she ignored the order and killed the wrong person, the Noxians suffered huge losses from the enemy's sudden attack. Her actions could not go unpunished, so she appeared before the Supreme Court of Noxus, on which, according to the ancient Noxian tradition, she was sentenced to public humiliation lasting 24 hours.
